Sabino Canyon

Ah, Sabino Canyon!  It's a gem nestled in the Santa Catalina Mountains here in Tucson. Sabino Canyon is renowned for its stunning desert landscape, including rugged canyons, lush vegetation, and unique rock formations. The Sonoran Desert flora and fauna are a treat for the eyes.

Every Father's Day weekend, on Saturday, Everyone Runs brings runners and walkers our Run with the Roosters 4-Miler running from the start of Sabino Canyon's main road to Bear Canyon and then to the turnaround at the Seven Falls trailhead.  At that point runners turnaround and head back in the same direction to the finish line.  Sabino Canyon is a fantastic place for outdoor enthusiasts of all abilities. Whether you're hiking, running, or just enjoying the natural beauty, there's something for everyone. Sabino Canyon Tram

Not up for a walk or run?

  Enjoy the tram ride which takes you on a narrated tour through the canyon. It's a great way to learn about the area's history, geology, and wildlife.  There is a fee per rider, and you can get off and on.

Keep an eye out for desert bighorn sheep, coatimundis, and various bird species. The canyon is teeming with life!
