  • 1) What age groups do you award at your events?
    At Everyone Runs we always do 5-year age group awards starting with 5-9 and up to 80+. If we have very few runners in the younger and older age groups, we will adjust the age groups on race day. For instance, 80+, rather than 80-84 if there are only 2-3 runners in that age group.
  • 2) What type of shirts do you provide?
    At Everyone Runs we give you your choice of materials: technical or cotton. We always provide male and female sizes!
  • 3) Do you provide medals to every participant?
    We only provide medals to age group and overall winners. Due to the extreme cost of medals, we choose to provide finisher shirts or hats instead.
  • 4) Are you running events for all ages and all levels of runners?
    An emphatic “YES”! When we started Everyone Runs, Everyone Walks, we built it for runners and walker of all ages and abilities (hand-cyclists are always invited to our road runs). Thus, the word EVERYONE! We are proud to serve participants that are first-timers to those that have run thousands of races. At Everyone Runs, you will never ever feel intimidated.
  • 5) Do you ever close your finish line?
    At our Catalina St. Park Trail Races, the finish line stays open until the final finisher crosses the line. At our July Run with the Roosters, you will have 2-hours to finish the 5-miler.
  • 6) Is the Catalina State Park Trail Race easy or hard?
    As trail running goes, Catalina St. Park is the best place to begin your trail running. For the most part, the trails are wide, smooth, and don’t have a lot of technical turns or climbs. There are some tough hills, but they are short.
  • 7) How is the Veterans Day Half Marathon and 5k course?
    It is absolutely beautiful, and the roads are in very good condition. The course is far from flat.It features some steady hills, but lots of fast downhills, too! Consider making this the Fall half marathon and 5k that you train for.
  • 8) What type of food do you serve at your post-race party?
    We proudly serve our highly acclaimed and very popular homemade Mexican breakfast of scrambled eggs, the best tortillas in Tucson (Vegan ones, too!), beans that are Vegan friendly (no lard or meat), fresh homemade salsa, and fruit. It is all free for participants.
  • 9) Is your race chip-timed?
    YES, always! Chips are only available race morning.
  • 10) Do you have race morning packet pick-up and late registration?
    YES! Cash or check only.
  • 11) Do you allow runners to wear headsets?
    YES! Just keep the music low.
  • 12) Do you have water stops on your courses?
    Yes, at Catalina St. Park we have staffed and self-serve water stops.
  • 13) Where can I find a training group?
    We suggest our friends at Fleet Feet for event specific training groups.
  • 14) Where are good places to run in Tucson?
    SABINO CANYON Awesome trail and paved running. Picturesque personified. Bathrooms and drinking fountains available. ​ SAGUARO NATIONAL MONUMENT EAST Just like Sabino Canyon, but with unmatched views of the Rincon Mountains. Very challenging. ​ RIVER PATHS The Chuck Huckelberry Loop is a system of paved, shared-use paths and short segments of buffered bike lanes connecting the Rillito, Santa Cruz, and Pantano River Parks with the Julian Wash and Harrison Road Greenways. More than 120 miles of paved pathways and bike lanes have already been completed with an additional 11 miles planned or currently under construction. ​ CANADA DEL ORO RIVER PATH Another wonderful running path, the Oro Valley section runs from Tangerine Rd. south to La Canada (4.2 miles), where it connects with the Pima County main loop. CATALINA STATE PARK Located on Oracle Rd., about a mile north of 1st Avenue. Here you can take a run on the two-mile paved road and then wind your way up one of the many well-marked trails. You'll experience the awe-inspiring views of Pusch Ridge and the back-side of the Catalina Mountains. There are bathrooms and water at the beginning and end of the main road, and some around the campgrounds. ​ UNIVERSITY OF ARIZONA Lots of roads and sidewalks to run on, not a lot of cars to contend with. Create your own course. And, it's got lots of character, too! ​ UDALL PARK Located at Tanque Verde Rd. just east of Sabino Canyon Rd. Features an indoor and outdoor running path. ​ REID PARK Centrally located in a four square mile area bordered on the North and South by Broadway and 22nd St. and Alvernon and Country Club on the East and West. Fantastic running paths.
